About

Hi, I’m Linda McDonough, a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Live Mindfully. I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges and discover a path toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
 

I earned my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. My approach to counseling is holistic and eclectic, drawing from evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs and goals, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying issues that impact your overall wellness.
 

As a counselor with a Christian worldview, my approach is guided by values of compassion, grace, and hope. While my faith informs who I am, I welcome and work with clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life.

 

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll explore the tools and strategies that will empower you to move forward with confidence and clarity.
